In India, DGCA would have grounded the entire crew for flouting the norms and company would do nothing to back up crew that why would you allow to hire charter services for such pruposes when it is not allowed. So after math is mostly Crew is grounded, Company has earned their money, Passengers have enjoyed and they have full right for what they have paid and lastly regulator is laughing at crew members and probably some cash was slid under table to regulator to hung the pilots and crew for some time and for which they would not be paid at all.
